Roger Thomas, CEO

Roger leads our overall business strategy. He was self-employed through his telecommunications company, TeleCompNET, since October of 1994, then purchased Dixieland Computers with Gino, and changed the name to TeleComp. This experience makes him the point-man for the administration side of TeleComp, as well as the sales side of the business, specifically bandwidth circuits primarily through AT&T, and various other carriers across the nation and internationally.

His expertise in this field goes back to the actual break-up of the Bell and AT&T phone companies (wireline) in the early 80's. Roger worked for Alltel (formerly Allied) from '83 - 85, MCI from '86 - '92, and then LDDS and BellSouth until he started his own business in the mid 90's.

If numbers impress you, you'll be amazed to know that Roger has led our TeleComp sales and service team to be the #1 AT&T Solution Provider (independent contractor) for the states of Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, and Texas from 2005 – to date. TeleComp has received the prestigious recognition of the AT&T nationwide Circle of Excellence award for these years while winning a stunning 3 category awards (most revenue, highest percentage increase in revenue, and highest data revenue) in 2009 alone. Under his leadership, TeleComp has sold and currently services over 1,000 T-1 / multi-meg bandwidth installations, and over 500 Local, Long Distance and multi-location data and internet customers across the United States.

His previous company TeleCompNET had been in the top 5% nationwide for Sprint Communications Authorized Agents 6 of the 12 years of being a Sprint Partner, and Roger served on the Sprint National Advisory Board from 2001 - 2004. Roger served as a board member of the AT&T Southwest Region Board of Directors for the Solution Provider Alliance Channel from 2005 - 2008.

Roger is very active in local community groups and serves on the Northwest Arkansas Children's Museum Board of Directors (since 2005), a High School Sunday School teacher at the local Methodist church (since 2002), and plays music in several bands including a Contemporary Christian band called The Altered Project and an "oldies" (70’s, 80’s, 90’s) rock band called Total Defrag (go figure).
